Early concept art exploration of Kwei’s Yautja ship cockpit for Predator: Badlands. After locking the exterior design layout, I moved into developing the ship’s interior. The cockpit was conceived without traditional screens, instead using pod-like interfaces that project rudimentary holographic data. I also wanted to have a means for Yautja to plug directly into the ship via the pilots chair in a more symbiotic connection between flesh and machine. A lot of fun being let loose on this one, and always a pleasure helping bring Dan Trachtenberg's vision to life. Production Design: James Clyne, Ra Vincent
